The Gran Prix - Frozen Stiff (55)

The repeat for the affectionately nicknamed Mr. Frosty.   [MORE DESCRIPTION LATER]

The Perriman Pennant - Greyfriars Bobby (18)

Another back-to-back winner, as the reigning "King of Aces" hit 18 centurions and near-centurions.  The points are low, but the hits are plentiful.

Rookie of the Year - Divinely Supine

This one, as George Tenet would say, was a "slam dunk." Divinely Supine finished in sole possession of tenth-place with a respectable 29 & 11 mark. Her closest rookie competitors, Cerberus and YuGoGirl

Doc's Diploma for Class List - Frozen Stiff

This was a tough call. Tim Ormortis has five solos and all five of them showed sophisticated class. He soloed on two philosophers, two poets and a world class musician. In the end, the award went to Frozen Stiff. He too had five solos, but led almost the entire year. He also displayed dramatic style as two of his biggest hits were assassination hits provided by the Israelis. Further, Mr. Frosty had good timing. Almost every time someone would pull close he had an answering hit and would pull away again, demonstrating that class and power can go together, as he makes room for Doc's Diploma next to his Grand Prix.

The Silver Bobcat - Frozen Stiff, Sick Puppies

A stylish five-pointer on March 3rd, for both Frozen Stiff and the Sick Puppies to share the honors for the the silver statuette on Nuyorican poet and playwright Pedro Pietri, sometimes alluded to as the "Spanish Metaphor Consultant to the Latin Insomniac Motorcycle Club Without Motorcycles."

Reaper Ribbon for High QPA - Tomb Essence (4.80)

[DESCRIPTION LATER]

Clete's Cup for Low QPA - Greyfriars Bobby  (1.00)

With the wafer-thin 1.0 as the required mark for the foreseeable future, Greyfriars Bobby rode 18 long-toothed hits to tie the all-time low QPA.  Never play poker with him, he's always holding Aces.

The Buffalo Cup - Final Curtain, Lillies Down Under, Martin G. Fender

A relatively slow year in which Club Nula had multiple residents late into the Game, only Final Curtain, Lillies Down Under and Martin G. Fender had lists completely devoid of action to claim the pinnacle of futility..

Hit of the Year - 2 Dead Crew on "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott

A Gamester who's gangster-rap heavy lists have produced many nice hits (at least until Suge Knight was arrested), 2 Dead Crew branched out into the world of heavy metal and was there with his cigarette lighter in the air in Columbus, Ohio on December 8, when former Pantera guitarist, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, while playing with his new band Damageplan, was shot five times on stage by deranged fan Nathan Gale, (who also took out an audience member, a security guard and a bouncer, before the Columbus police dispatched Gale into the Great Beyond). While a hit on someone who's recreational chemical usage leads to a nickname is not surprising, the manner certainly was.  For the Crew, the broadening of musical tastes was indeed rewarding.
