When we began playing the Game, we said that the first of our number to die would have the Game named in his or her honor. In 1975, gamester Brian McArdle died in a fender bender, a bump at an intersection from which everyone walked away unscathed except Brian, who struck his head on the windshield. He was in his 20's, the younger brother of gamester J. Smoke. That year, he had submitted his list entirely in rhyme. Long believed to be lost, the original list turned up in 1997 during a cleaning of Game files. In it, you will see some of the spark that made him such a memorable character.
